☔️ TODAY WE WALKED THE ENTIRE PARADE IN AACHEN 🌧️

The first hour? Heavy rain. Completely soaked. After that it dried up a little … but our costumes didn’t. Once drenched, there’s no drying them during a parade.

Still — we finished the entire route. Together. Soaked, cold, but proud. With heavy hearts, we’ve decided to cancel our evening performance in Aachen and tomorrow in Maastricht. All of our instruments are made of wood and simply can’t withstand this kind of moisture. Protecting our sound means protecting our instruments — and most importantly, protecting our Diversão! members. 🙏🏻🥁🖤

Heerlen, Würselen and Aachen — you’re in our hearts. We’ll be back next time 🤘🏼
